About me

Bassist, songwriter, and music educator with over 30 years in metal.
Founder & CEO of Metal Academy.

I’m a Chilean bassist, songwriter, and music educator based in Barcelona, Spain. With over three decades of experience and a career spanning Europe and Latin America, I have performed and recorded with bands including Human Carnage, SMRT, Aggression, Pánico al Miedo, Sad Eyes, and Tales of Gaia, and collaborated with renowned musicians such as Steve DiGiorgio (Death, Testament), Jeff Becerra (Possessed), James Murphy (Death, Obituary, Testament), and Karl Willetts (Bolt Thrower).

As the founder and Executive Director of Metal Academy — Spain’s first music school fully dedicated to heavy metal— I lead an institution committed to excellence in metal education, while continuing to push the boundaries of modern metal bass as a performer, bringing precision, versatility, and passion both on the stage and in the studio.
